Amsterdam based molecular biologist, producer and rising talent Teqmun debuts on Flippen Bits with five bits of his warm and uncannily organic sound.

Organic Oscillations EP is a fresh blend of melancholic IDM, dreamy vocal chops, punchy rhythms and playful break-beat techno. The perfect representation of Teqmun’s approach to music: Energetic, highly emotional and musically wide-open, willing to take inspiration from all realms of contemporary music.
To complete the pack Pariah joins the party and delivers an excellent wobbling roller remix.

The nature inspired track titles of the EP establish a connection between the tracks and the organic world.
The term - oscillations - refers to the rhythmic, wave-like patterns found in various biological processes such as the beating of a heart or the swaying of plants in the wind. Organic Oscillations suggests that the music captures the essence of these natural patterns, creating a sonic experience that resonates with the organic world.

While Aphid Walk refers to the infrastructural challenges and solutions of the insect world, Parachute Kernel is a seed that has developed a specific structure that allows for it to be carried by the wind. Balsa parallels the sounds of the track with the features of a kind of wood that goes by the same name: it’s one of the lightest woods we know yet incredibly solid. Blossom reminisces the different stages of a flower while developing (just like the track) and And Nettle Dweller, well, you have to be really brave to want to live on stinging nettles, rather appropriate to the stingy track that it is.
